Rocket Update - Version 1.0.0d Now Available

Thank you to everyone who bought and played Rocket within the last week. I am excited to see how people feel about the game going forward and all that it brings. I have gotten pretty good feedback and spent the week updating the game. Here are all the changes added:

Game now supports up to 5 local players (Keyboard + 4 Controllers) and shows the 5th player on the HUD
The Space Station Upgrade screen has been slightly modified to show a hint to what Keyboard/Controller button is used for certain weapons as a helpful tip.
Drop In/Out Multiplayer now possible everywhere. Co-Op was always possible, but just in the game modes. This makes it more clear.
Pause Menus have been reorganized and adjusted.
Mazes have been changed up a little bit.
Maze Walls graphics have been changed.
Level progression HUD has been flipped and now fills to 100%
Steam Deck Docked mode now fully supported and fixed.

Along with frequent updates to the game, here are the next 2 major updates that are currently in the works: Arcade Mode - A more Arcady mode where you start with no upgrades, just your standard main Rocket. As you play you will find Upgrades pop up physically in the game that you can grab to enable & equip. So it's a bit more chaotic and random each time you play. This update should be out by mid March. Survive Mode - Similar to Arcade Mode, you start with nothing. Here you are given limited resources & no rocket regen. You will need to survive X amount of time in each level to advance to the next level. Every time you survive a level, you will be given a popup allowing you to choose 1 of 3 Upgrade options. Each new Level takes a little more time and your rockets will be refilled. Don't have to defeat all the enemies or asteroids here, just need to survive and get out of harms way long enough to advance to the next level. This should make for some fun challenging gameplay. The aim for this mode is to release in early to mid Summer.

About Rocket!

This is an arcade style space shooter game, with heavy influences from the classic Atari game Asteroids as well as the gameplay fun and challenge of a Bullet Hell / Shoot Em Up. As you shoot down asteroids and fire on various enemy ships, you will gain various resources you will need to upgrade your ship with more powerful weapons and various upgrades. Don't forget to avoid space anomalies like black holes and supernovas!

Work toward upgrading your ship each time you play. Each play through builds up resources you can use to power up your ship, allowing you to score higher and explore further. Maximize your ship’s power to rank high on the online leaderboards!

Local Co-Op

Got an extra controller and a friend nearby? Check out the local co-op! Just pop in that second controller while playing and your buddy will join in on the fun. Can you both survive the depths and get a high score?

This game is perfect for Steam's Remote Play Together as well! Invite your friend to play through the magic of Steam without being in the same room!
